How to onboard a new franchisee
Get a brand-new franchisee operational fast: provision their tenant, deliver the franchisee curriculum, set them up as their location's Admin, and hand off the dashboard.

Provision the franchisee's location and tenant scope
From HQ Settings → Locations, create the new location and tag it to the franchisee. Set the operating model (single-unit, multi-unit, master franchise). Aristotl spins up a scoped workspace inheriting your HQ course library. Configure the franchisee's permissions: Admin scoped to their location(s), with rights to assign HQ-published courses but not to edit them.
Deliver the franchisee curriculum
Auto-assign your franchisee onboarding bundle: brand foundations, financial model, P&L expectations, supplier relationships, marketing playbook, hiring framework, operating cadence. Set a 30-day deadline. Aristotl tracks completion and quiz scores. The franchisee learns your operating model on the same platform their crew will eventually use - they arrive at hand-off already fluent in the dashboard.
Walk through the location dashboard live
Schedule a 45-minute screen-share with the franchisee at the end of the curriculum. Walk them through their scoped dashboard: how to see crew completion, how to assign HQ courses, how to onboard new hires, how to pull a compliance report. Most franchisees grasp the model in one session - the curriculum primed them. Record the session for future franchisees.
Hand off operational ownership
Switch the franchisee to active Admin status on their location. From this moment, they own crew assignments, completion tracking, and per-location compliance reporting on their own. HQ retains course-library ownership and network rollup visibility. Schedule a 30-day check-in to review their first cohort's completion data and answer dashboard questions; after that, they self-serve.
