How to launch training at a new store opening

Stand up training for a brand-new location in days: provision the location, clone the standard course set, onboard the opening crew, and verify before doors open.

Step-by-step

  1. Provision the new location in your tenant

From HQ Settings → Locations, click 'Add location'. Enter the address, region, brand, and operating model. Aristotl creates a scoped workspace for the new location with its own roster, manager dashboard, and reporting view - inheriting HQ's course library by default. The new franchise manager gets an Admin invite scoped to that location only.

  2. Clone the standard new-store training bundle

From your course library, select your new-store-opening bundle (typically: brand foundations, role-specific SOPs, POS, safety, opening checklist). Click 'Assign to location' and target the new site. Aristotl auto-assigns the full bundle to every roster member added to that location. No course rebuilding - every new opening uses the same proven curriculum.

  3. Bulk-onboard the opening crew

Have the franchise manager bulk-import the full opening roster via CSV. Each crew member gets the new-store bundle auto-assigned with a deadline of opening-day-minus-3. Aristotl translates per learner and sends mobile-optimized welcome emails. Crew members complete training on their phones during onboarding week - they're ready for the first soft-open shift.

  4. Run the readiness check 24 hours before doors open

Open the location dashboard the day before opening. Sort by completion: every crew member should be marked complete. Stragglers get a final push or a pre-open coaching session. Low quiz scores trigger a manager-led recap. Export the readiness report and share with operations leadership. Confidence at open day is now a verifiable artifact, not a hope.
